Our flagship program, Neighborhood Families, employs intensive weekly home-visiting Parents as Teachers and Early Head Start curriculum. Our trained staff blend in-home health and parenting guidance, connection to community resources, health education, health and developmental screenings, goal setting support, parent education, school readiness support, and financial assistance/supplies.
Neighborhood Families ensures children are safe, supported, and have supplies to learn and thrive.
The program utilizes four key services including:
WEEKLY HOME VISITATIONS build knowledge of successful parenting techniques to promote educational readiness and child safety.
DIRECT HEALTH AND SAFETY ASSISTANCE provides basic supplies/equipment essential to daily family life (i.e. formula/diapers/safe sleep equipment/car seats/financial assistance).
COMMUNITY RESOURCE REFERRALS connect families with affordable housing agencies, social services, healthcare, food pantries, and benefit access points.
